  Brightly, yellow colored Sun flower fields! Sun flowers bloom during Summer season and remain  till October of Autumn. I enjoy painting Sunflowers using thick paint dabs of bright yellow, ochre, lime, orange color. while working with thick color. I don't use any medium but certain times, I try using terpene oil for brightness & shinning effect. It does take more than a week for the painting to dry.  I am working on A3 size oil canvas sheet from Brustro. The canvas sheet has got very good texture & thickness. I drew around 10 sketches of  fully bloomed Sunflowers in the field and now painting and dabbing them with different size brushes.  R ed color poppy flowers bloom during May & June,  when hot weather arrives. They look beautiful growing in my garden trays also. I have seen mostly yellow & black butterflies being attracted to growing red poppies. Now, I am painting them on canvas using tools with vibrant colors & thick oil paint.   Oil painting , Purplish Blue Roses I have been recently working upon. Category - Roses, Flowers Roses come in variety of different Colors. Each color has its own meaning. I thought why not try to paint roses in a different and not so common color,  some rose color that is found unique! I remembered, when I was in 4th grade, I saw Purplish blue roses growing at a garden inside Durga temple premises, at Meerut  in the  year 1980 and I was attracted by those roses very much. Now,  I have done this painting and this  is kept for drying. It will take another week for this painting to  completely dry because  of thick paint. I still have to give this painting a final touch of shading.  And, then I may plan to get it framed either in white or Black wooden frame with unbreakable acrylic glass.
